Knaresborough Viaduct

June 2017

We visited Knaresborough, On the hottest day of the Year. Knaresborough is an Historic Medieval Market Town, in North Yorkshire.

The Viaduct is best viewed from Knaresborough Castle. Where we took this photograph, As the whole landscape of the valley can be seen in all its glory. Especially on a lovely sunny day, Like the Picture above!

The Viaduct has huge stone archways, That were built in 1851 to carry the Leeds to Thirsk railway. Which has the River Nidd running through the archways. As you can see very beneficial to Knaresborough, A focal point alot of people are familiar with through out the world.
