February Nature Wildlife Photography

February Nature Wildlife Photography Report

Welcome to our February Nature Wildlife Photography report. Based on Nature, Wildlife in the Countryside of North Yorkshire and the Surrounding area. We visited Leeds Wildlife Photography Hides for the Second time this year. Also this time the weather was kind to us, unlike January’s storm. As always with all our visits, it was hectic as soon as we arrived straight at it with the camera Bramblings were first up with Blackbirds, Starlings and Great Spotted Woodpeckers among others. Today we used The Canon R3 with Canon RF 100-500L 4.5-7.1F general setting Shutter Speed minimum 1250- 2500 throughout the day F7.1 and Iso 1000-3200. As the light Got Better, the faster the shutter speed.

As Usual, Jays arrived and were at their photogenic best posing in the Sunshine when they could. Male and female Bramblings. Are a joy to watch closely and we got some really good pictures as you can see above. In the sunshine, we were trying to get photos of the birds with Movement ie taking off moving from branch to branch or flying into land very hit-and-miss. But a bit of good fun. Some of the best pictures are above, Let me know your thoughts?

We enjoy our Visits to Leeds Wildlife Photography Hides. It is a great place to go a very well set up hide and allows us to learn our new R series Canon Cameras.

One last thing for this month we will be announcing a new addition to the Canon R Series Cameras Next month.
