May Nature Photography Report

Welcome to our May Nature photography Report. Based on Nature, Wildlife, and landscape photography all in the amazing countryside of North Yorkshire. May has been a difficult month for us to get to our local nature reserves. Due to the wet weather that has swept across North Yorkshire. When we have had spare time the weather has not been good. So as mentioned before when not been able to take Pictures we look at the ones we took earlier. Also, we managed to update our website and all of our Social media accounts. Any spare time is spent improving JP Watson Photography. Have a look at our latest photographs on our Website.

May’s featured Photograph

Our Featured Photo for May is a Silhouette of a Sheep. As a result of it being popular on our webshop. And also chosen by Picfair for a special Star award for being the best of its class. This photograph has literally chosen itself.

Silhouette of a Sheep, Photographed at Yorkshire wildlife Trusts Staveley Nature Reserve East Lagoon near Boroughbridge. Very early on an April morning. Photographed with our Canon EOS 7DMK11 DSLR Camera with the wonderful EF 100-400 LIS Mk11 Canon Lens at 400mm. With a shutter speed of 1/1250 of a Second at F5.6 also with an ISO of 160. All this creates the Photograph above with the help of the early morning sunrise creates a beautiful blurred Coloured background using the lagoon.
