July Nature Photography Report
Welcome to our July Nature Photography report. Based on Nature, Wildlife in the Countryside of North Yorkshire and the Surrounding area. This Month was a busy month with the Camera. Firstly our second visit of the year to RSPB Bempton Cliffs on the Yorkshire Coast. For another attempt to Photograph Puffins but again to no avail, But on the upside the Gannets were amazing as the wind was making them glide very close to the cliffs and just above our heads. Well worth the trip over to the coast. As you know, I enjoy photographing Gannets as they are amazing birds.
More time out with the Camera
We also visited our Local Nature Reserve Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts Staveley Nature Reserve. For Sunrise, as well as any wildlife we could find the reserve was Quiet early morning but we did get some amazing sunrise pictures as you can see from the Pictures above. After visiting Staveley we got a take-out coffee and Sandwich for Breakfast and took them to the picnic area near the River Ure. A nice Quiet picturesque place Just across the river from where we were parked was A wonderful grey Heron Strutting around, preening and posing in the bright sunshine. Again we we got some nice images some of which are above.
We Enjoyed being out with the camera a few times this month really seem to be getting used to the new mirrorless Canon R series cameras that we bought earlier in the year and at this stage seems to be a good investment.
