September Photography Nature Blog

Welcome to our September Nature Photography Blog. Based on Nature Wildlife and Nature in the Countryside of North Yorkshire and the Surrounding area.

September was our first visit to the National trusts Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Deer Park Near Ripon. As you are aware this is one of our favourite places to go in Autumn. Early morning At Studley Royal you can get Some wonderful Autumnal photographs. Stags, Sunrise and Landscape photographs in the amazing Deer Park and many other types of Photographs. Having been brought up in the area, I have been to Studley Royal many times. I always like to go in late summer or early Autumn to get a feel for the place and then see, what has changed since last year etc. Also to try and find different, ideal places to Photograph the Stags on later visits to Studley Royal.

Upon arrival at Studley Royal always like to take Photographs of the Distant Ripon Cathederal And Saint Mary’s Church. Then have a wander around the deer park to see the wildlife in the Park and also alternate views of Ripon Cathedral. In Late Summer or early Autumn, the Deer always seem a bit flighty so it is a struggle to get a close-up picture. As you can see from the above Pictures we did manage to get some rather nice ones.

Around the Abbey

It Is the first time we have been around Fountains Abbey for a few years, Things have not changed much, But we did manage to get some angles of the Abbey that we had previously not Managed to get.
