April Photography Report

Welcome to our April  Photography Report based in the glorious countryside of North Yorkshire. We have spent a lot of early mornings. At our very local Nature reserve. Because the Yorkshire wildlife trusts Staveley Nature Reserve near Boroughbridge North Yorkshire is so close to us. We like making the most of some great atmospheric Sunrises. On cold icy April mornings that we have had this month. Also some of the wonderful wildlife that calls the reserve home in April. We are really enjoying these lovely mornings. As a result, this is giving us inspiration. For our latest Pictures on our website.

April’s featured Photograph

As mentioned in March. We are having a featured photograph in our monthly Report. That seems to be quite popular on our Social Media account but more of that later. We have chosen the photograph of a Puffin for this month, A result of it has been popular on our webshop and also been chosen by Picfair for a special Star award for being best of its class. This photograph has literally chosen itself.

Puffin photographed at Yorkshire’s own and a Favourite of ours RSPB Bempton Cliffs a couple of years ago in April. The Picture was taken with our Canon EOS 7DMK11 DSLR Camera. Also the wonderful EF 100-400 LIS Mk11 Canon Lens at 400mm. With a shutter speed of 1/1250th of a Second at F6.3 also with an ISO of 400 to keep the shutter speed fast as a result of Sunshine and cloudy type day also seems to be windy every time you go to the Yorkshire coast.

As you can see the Puffin is on the cliffs looking out to sea. Shortly after the photograph’s taken the Puffin flew out to sea on a fishing trip. The Puffin. Is well known for its multicolored beak and orange feet. This makes the Puffin very distinctive in the seabird colonies on the cliffs of the UK coastline. During the spring and early summer months of the year.

Also, the Social media accounts are been updated regularly. So please keep an eye out on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and finally Flickr.
